About Us

Brick Orbit is a UK-based seller of genuine LEGO® minifigures that was founded by Andrew Revell in 2024. Our aim is to become the best place to buy mini figures in the UK, with a user-friendly website, simple and competitive pricing and cheap shipping.

Who is behind Brick Orbit?

Hi, I’m Andrew Revell and I’m the founder and owner of Brick Orbit.This isn’t my first experience of e-commerce, I’ve been working in the field since 2020, first helping to run and then taking sole responsibility for a business selling football shirts, before a role as an e-commerce manager at an interior design business. At this point I know Shopify inside out, I understand how this all works and it’s something that I love doing.

My journey into the world of online retail has been shaped by a varied background, I have a degree in computing, I worked as a writer (I reviewed videogames!) and spent 9 years working as a picture editor and in production in publishing.

This unique blend of skills has given me the creative vision and technical expertise needed to make a great website for people to buy Lego from!

Why LEGO®?

That’s an easy one, I’ve loved Lego since I was a child in the 1980s with Space and Pirate themed sets as well as lots and lots of loose bricks. Lots of the things I used to make were Star Wars themed, another of my passions so I was rather delighted when official Star Wars sets started to appear on shelves.

Until then, minifigures were a fun addition to every set but the number of amazing figures that have released since makes them some of the very best things that LEGO create. And if you want to collect LEGO, as great as the huge modular buildings are…It’s a lot easier to fit an impressive collection of minifigures into most houses!

What makes Brick Orbit different?

My main aim for the site is for it to be simple and enjoyable to use. If you know exactly what you’re looking for, the search function will show you it immediately. If you’re a collector of a specific theme, we’ve got a dedicated page to click through to show only the figures in that theme. You can also browse all our minifigures in one place, where we’ve got filters for the theme, the price and even the age of a figure. If you’re shopping for birthday presents, why not get someone a figure from the year they were born?

But if you love LEGO®, and if you’re reading this I’m sure you do, it’s just fun scrolling through and looking at LEGO® minifigures you either remember or have never seen before!

How do you work out your prices?

Keeping things simple extends to the prices of items, rounded to the nearest pound. I know, because quite a few years ago I was one of them, that lots of young people would like to spend their spending money on getting some cool minifigures and being able to easily add up how many they can buy with their money seemed a good idea. (And the 10% off you can get by signing up to the newsletter is an ideal opportunity for them to learn how percentages work!)

And don’t worry, all our prices are very competitive. Some minifigures are much rarer than others and will cost more, but I promise that easy to add up doesn’t mean expensive!

Is shipping equally simple?

It is! If you’re in the UK it’s £3, unless you spend more than £15 when it becomes completely free. If you’re outside the UK, it’s just £10 per order. In either case, it doesn’t matter if you order a thousand figures, if you do we’ll be more than happy to cover the extra postage cost ourselves!

All orders will be extremely well-packaged to make sure that the minifigures you buy arrive with you in the same condition that they leave us in.

What is the future of Brick Orbit?

Our main aim is to increase the number of minifigures on the site from the hundreds to the thousands. We’ve worked hard behind the scenes to set up systems that are designed to grow with the business so we can increase how many minifigures we have available at one time so we’re ready to expand.

After that, we’d like to move into other areas of LEGO® collecting, such as instruction manuals and even full sets. But for now, the focus is very much on minifigures!
